    Hot water heater leak

    Fixed leaky hot water heater and responded quickly to query re hot water pressure in shower. No arrogance or attitude, just quick responsive service to all queries. Am happy with their service.

    overpriced and incompetent

    This was our second time using Waterworks, and most definitely, our last. Now, in 2016, a hum started which seemed to come from the same shower fixture or the adjacent Jacuzzi tub. We called up Waterworks again owing to their HomeStars' rating. The plumber arrived and said that based on the location of where the sound seemed to emanate, he needed to make a hole in the ceiling to look at the pipes. He told us that qualified as a "plumbing diagnostic (major)" and the cost was $509.06. We were desperate and so we approved the cost. The plumber found nothing amiss, and decided the hum was coming from the Jacuzzi tub, and Waterworks does not repair Jacuzzi tubs. The plumber spent 20 minutes in total in our home, and in addition to the "diagnostic" charge, the service call charge was $39.00 for a total of $619.30 with tax. I would not be writing a negative review except for the fact that the second company I contacted, did a fantastic job. He determined that the hum was a result of a faulty valve on our humidifier attached to the furnace and the sound traveled up the wall pipes to the upstairs bathroom, and when I told him that the shower upstairs was broken but the previous plumber from WaterWorks who had worked on it could not identify the brand, he just picked up the shower wand and said, "It's stamped 'Aquabrass.'" It did take the second plumber 5 hours to determine the cause of the hum, but he charged us only $672.35 for the whole day's work. This suggests to me that WaterWorks is overpriced and simply capitalizes from its misleading ratings on HomeStars. I will _never_ use them or recommend them again. Initially, we didn't know that we had been overcharged off until the work was fixed by another plumber at a significantly cheaper rate.

Had we known about our failure to live up to your expectations we would have, as is our policy, offered you a choice of either returning to your home to do whatever it would take to resolve your problem with no additional charge or refund your money in full. I am saddened that you did not call me to give me the opportunity to resolve this situation because I surely would have. Although you say that you will never use us or recommend us, I cannot keep your money if you did not receive the value that you expect and I would be happy to refund your payment in full. I know that I can change your opinion of us if you give us a second chance so I would also like to offer you a second option. If you wish, in lieu of a refund of the total amount of $619.30, I will give you a credit towards future work of $1,238.60 which is double the amount of the refund.     Running toilet tank

    I have had trouble finding out where my water kept running. I would wake up at night hearing it going. My last water bill was over $500. Waterworks found the problem in a snap, and corrected it. Now I get a sound sleep, knowing that my savings are not running down the drain.

    Water Heating Issue

    We were having an issue with some heating of our water and Larry showed up and fixed it! We were so happy with the service, they have a price list so they don't just make up prices and he even did an additional job for us even though we sprung it upon him. Larry was lovely and they even send a picture via email of who to expect so may wife really liked this for safety. Very happy with these guys! Highly recommended.

    Leaky Faucet

    As a new homeowner, this was my first experience with Homestars and this company. I was very happy with Micheal's service. Not only was he very friendly, but he came out on a Sunday! Thank you Micheal and Waterworks for the great & speedy service. - Alyson

    Basement sump pump repair

    Excellent customer services! Timely and clear communication from call Center to Service. Larry V was the service rep who handled our job. He was quick, clean and fully transparent with both pricing and products. I've dealt with many plumbers through past Jobs and I would highly recommend this company moving forward.

    Whole House Inspection and Repair

    I purchased a Platinum Protection Plan with Water Works based on good experiences I'd had with the company in the past. As part of the plan, I received a free assessment of the plumbing in my home. Michael Yuffa did a thorough inspection and discovered a leak under one of the bathroom sinks. He replaced the entire sink with faucet and drain pipes within an hour and then did some resealing around the faucet of another sink. I've had no problems with either sink, and they look great. Michael is punctual, respectful, friendly and cleans up thoroughly. The only issue I had was that he cancelled the home inspection 3 times. This is something I'd never experienced with him in previous years. Nonetheless, I trust his work and would recommend his company highly.

    Fixed problems from another contractor

    This isn't the first time I've used waterworks, but it's the first review I've written for them. I've used their services twice now over the past month and each time they exceeded my expectations. Their staff was prompt, courteous, helpful and incredibly detail oriented. The end result was always very high quality. In this particular instance I had a problem with a previous general contractor/handyman whose work was repeatedly problematic. The work he did was failing miserably and we needed the problem solved asap. Nathalie helped me get one of their technicians out on very short notice (on a weekend nonetheless) who came out and immediately spotted the problem and corrected it. He was also kind enough to point out remaining issues with the previous contractors work and explain to me how to correct them myself. These guys are pros. If you want it done right and don't want to worry about hiring unreliable, sketchy people these guys and gals are exactly what you're looking for. Michael, Larry, Vos and Nathalie... Thank you for taking care of me and my family. We really appreciate it.

    Drain Clog

    After finding water near our furnace, we called WaterWorks. They sent Vas V out the same day. It was a difficult job, but Vas stuck it out, bringing out bigger artillery than he originally thought was needed. After an hour of persistent work, the clog was finally clear. He also recommended a cleaner to avoid future clogs. He did a great job and while it was more expensive than we had thought it would be, we certainly got our money's worth. We would definitely use them again!

    Water Leaks & outside tap replacements

    Called Water Works this morning as we discovered our kitchen sink leaking and had a split outside leading up through our deck to the exterior tap along with a second exterior tap that required replacing. The company was great and Michael Y our service plumber showed up on time and was extremely polite and pleasant to deal with, his service was fast, excellent and very, very professional. This is the second time we have used them and I highly recommend Water Works.
