    Major Grease Clog

I had a clogged kitchen sink and none of the chemical de-cloggers worked, in fact they ruined my pipes. Larry came over from WaterWorks and snaked the line. He went 60', yet the sink was still clogged. He went to the basement and took out the plug (don't know what it's called) that gives access to the drain to the street. He was thinking the drain was cracked but luckily, when he took out the plug, we noticed it was encrusted with 40 years of grease. He checked to make sure that water flowed to the drain and it did, realizing the grease on the plug was the issue. Larry is a gentleman and I highly recommend him and WaterWorks.

    Replaced Two Shut-Off Valves

Initially I found water works on homestars 6 months ago to do a repair on an outside faucet that had bursted in the winter even though we had done the proper winterization. In prepping for the upcoming winter and going through my winterization steps, I realized the two valves for the two faucets outside the house did not completely seal the water. I had a slow leak which was probably the root cause of the first repair job I did with water works. I had them come back and fix these two valves. The quote was higher than what I had expected it to be (but I really have no frame of reference on cost) and Larry did a great job with the fix. The valves are now shutoff completely and my house is again winterized for the upcoming winter. I would recommend Water Works to anyone who's looking for quick response and quality repair.

    Answer from pro:

Hi Khiem. Thank your continuous loyalty. It was a wise decision on your part to call us to prepare your home for the winter as the burst pipe can cause tens of thousands of dollars damage to your home. We're always here when you need us, we are just a phone call or email away. Thanks from Larry and the WaterWorks Team

    Blocked toilet

Larry first came to our house two weeks ago, he showed up within the time specified when first booking the appointment. I received 30 minutes call prior to his arrival. Larry reviewed the problem, then explained potential costs before proceeding. He promptly rectified the situation... and I signed up for the Premium Plan based on the service I received. Other firms I've used have not been as prompt, fair and helpful. This week- the same toilet blocked again and Michael came to the house within 4 hours of the call and promptly fixed the issue. He was kind enough not to charge us for the call. Most impressive service I ever received from a plumbing company, to top it all off, he's the owner of the company. Superb service- prompt, friendly, transparent and fair. I will recommend Waterworks.

    Creative solution to groundwater seepage

Our water in the basement saga has a new chapter, and one that Waterworks helped us resolve satisfactorily. We started with an interior water management solution from Clark Basement Systems (which I remain very happy with overall). Then we used Waterworks to put in a sewer backflow prevention valve on the main sewer line... again, the quality of the work was outstanding. However, one side effect was that in the maintenance access pit for the backflow prevention valve, we were getting some groundwater seepage. Admittedly, I would have expected this to have been handled by the interior water management solution we'd previously put in place, but this water was not coming from the perimeter, and thus, the perimeter defense was inneffective. I discussed the problem with Waterworks, and they eventually came up with a very creative solution to allow the water to drain properly by fiitting the backflow prevention valve with a one-way drainage valve. Since that work was done, no more issue, and the cost was far better than having to install yet another sump pump. Very pleased with the "outside the box" thinking and we have been dry ever since. Highly recommended.

Hello Adam. I've been to your home so many times it's starting to feel like we're family or neighbours! Outside of the box is where we tend to live in terms of finding creative solutions for many of the challenges that we're faced with in the plumbing world on a daily basis. Thank you for the awesome review. We're always a phone call away should you have a question. From Michael and your WaterWorks Team!

    Great

We had a leak in our ceiling that seemed to be coming from the upstairs shower. We feared the worst and thought we were going to face a bill in the thousands of dollars. Good news, though -- Larry came and quickly diagnosed the problem, and saved us a ton of money and headache. Some plumbers would have started by cutting into our ceiling, he just intuitively knew what to do and put our needs first. I would definitely recommend this company and use them again.

Micheal and Vas were polite and clear about options for dealing with our old toilet that kept running. We ended up purchasing a new one and Vas installed it well.

    Broken valve on main line

I had an emergency with a broken valve to my main water supply. Michael was able to come quickly and remained onsite while the city shut off the supply from the street and finished the job. He is very clean and neat. He is on the more expensive side which is frustrating, but you do get a high level of service.

    Bathroom repairs

I've had a few minor problems adding up for a while now, so I called Water Works and Larry came out (he's been here before). He had helpful solutions to all my issues, fixed a few things and helped me better understand other issues - which I subsequently had fixed too. They can be slightly expensive, BUT - you do get what you pay for and it's good, trusted, reliable and educated advice and experience. I'll keep using them.
