    Water backup valve

    We needed a backup valve installation in our basement. Plumbers were very professional, punctual and finished their job the same day. They left everything clean and neat. We were happy with quick and professional service we'd gotten. We would recomend them to everyone who needs plumber's service.

    Estimates for a leaking bath tub and a run on toilet

    I needed a plumber for two reasons, one was a serious bath tub drain leak which was affecting my main floor ceiling, and secondly I had a toilet that would run briefly every half hour or so. I called Water Works based on their Home Stars rating.The plumber from Water Works who came was quite likeable and friendly. The estimate I got for the run on toilet caused me some concern. Michael first asked me if I wanted a whole new toilet. I told him that I did not. He lifted off the back of the toilet and inspected everything, refered to his catalogue and told me that it would cost about $350 for him to repair it. When I asked why so much he started to name all the parts that would need changing. I questioned why the intake hose would need to be replaced and he said that to make sure that the job was done right and that he wouldn't have to come back he would have to change all the components. I am glad my car mechanic does not live by the same philosophy. I decided against getting the work done by Water Works. I ended up watching a You Tube video on toilet repairs and fixed the problem myself by purchasing and installing a new rubber toilet flapper from Home Depot for around $5. As for the ceiling leak, Michael said that in order to accurately give me a repair estimate he would first have to cut through the ceiling for a proper diagnosis. I decided against Water Works based on the toilet repair quote. Since writing this review I have been contacted by Water Works and they impressed me by resolving the situation. I am happy we were able to clear the air in an amicable fashion and dealt with the situation rather than just sweeping it under the rug.

    Kitchen Tap Replacement, Bathroom Tap Repair, Main service valve replacement

    I would highly recommend Waterworks for anyone looking for a plumber. Natasha was very helpful in setting up the appointment and calling in advance to let me know Ali was on his way. When Ali arrived he was courteous and his passion for his job was apparent. He did a great job replacing an old kitchen tap with a new modern version which needed some assembly. During the work he discovered that the main water service valve to the house was leaking and he worked as long as it took that day to get it repaired. I was especially pleased that Ali managed to replace the cartridge in one of my bathroom sink taps. The tap was part of a matching set of many taps so I was very happy that he found a way to repair it. I would definitely recommend Ali if you are looking for a great plumber!

    Drain issue

    Issue with bathroom drain. Waterworks came promptly and worked diligently to correct the issue which involved having to snake the drain three times. Larry and Natasha provided excellent service. Highly recommended. Would be happy to use them again.

    Thermostatic mixing valve replacement

    Valve was replaced efficiently and was of a higher quality than we had previously installed! Larry was professional and great to deal with. Customer service follow up was extremely professional.

    Kitchen faucet and shut-off valve replacement

    An old Moen faucet sprung a massive leak at close to 1 a.m. I emailed Water Works from its website. I called in the morning. Mike was available the next day and arrived promptly as scheduled. We've known and used Mike's services in two homes for about ten years. Competence is a given. His integrity is the plus. He's our family plumber.

    Plumbing

    Water Works was fantastic to deal with and very professional. They identified where a leak was behind our wall and replaced the necessary piping. Our service professional, Ali, was a pleasure to deal with and he will be welcomed back into our home again. Other companies should use the Water Works template for customer service!!

    Tankless Water Heater Install

    Waterworks was one of two quotes we sought for installation of a tankless water heater. Although they have a predetermined price sheet for their jobs - a feature I appreciate, based on a previous job they did for us - they dropped to meet the competing quote, which was about 2/3d their listed price. Unfortunately, the original plan for the placement of the water heater was not possible due to the air intake/exhaust pipe placements and the job appears to have been more complicated than was initially thought. In the end, the job was completed without an air intake pipe, the necessity of which appears to be a point of debate. The installation was professionally done and Alex & Mike were thorough. I am satisfied with the work that was completed. Due to the initial incorrect spec of the job and the lack of an air intake pipe as part of the work, I would be unlikely to recommend Waterworks and would only use them again if I had competing quotes for the project.

    Burst Pipe and Sink Repair

    I had the pleasure of having Larry from WaterWorks visit our house on two separate occasions. The first time was to find and replace a burst pipe located behind our bathroom wall. Larry opened up the tile wall, replaced the burst pipe, replaced our old bathtub faucet with a new one and had us back up and running in no time. On his second visit he replaced the old drain and rusted out strainers of our kitchen sink with new ones and replaced the old p-trap on our basement laundry tub. On both occasions the work was completed in a timely and professional manner. The office manager Natasha (also a pleasure to deal with) called informing when he would arrive to start the work and then made a follow up phone call after the work was completed to ensure I was happy with work. I highly recommend WaterWorks to anyone needing any plumbing repairs.

    Faucet repair

    Michael does it again ! Fast ,friendly and professional service . They repaired our faucet, we thought we would need a new one. Now that saved us some money . Thank you WATERWORKS !
