My house is about 90 years old, and has some very outdated plumbing. The drains are clay, the drain stack is cast iron, and there was no floor drain in my laundry / furnace room. This project started out with drainage problem with my basement laundry tub. I made an appointment with Water Works, and Michael arrived at the scheduled date/time. After some consultation we decided to install a new clean out in the drain stack, and new floor drain in the laundry/ furnace room. While that drain work was being done large tree roots were found to be blocking off part of the clay drain, so that section was replaced. Unfortunately the next day I discovered that the plumbing was still not draining correctly, More than likely the drain had been mostly blocked off for a long time, but without a floor drain, the water did not have a place to back up out of... Michael came back and found a blockage further down the drain line. So more of the basement floor had to be excavated, and they even had to dig under the basement bathroom to cut out the next section of drain blocked by tree roots. Thankfully the repair could be done by going under the bathroom floor, and not having to break through the tile. While Michael was at the house I also had the ancient laundry tub faucet, and the 20+ year old taps connected to the washing machine hoses replaced. Also most of the hardware inside one of the toilet tanks had to be changed out. At one point I had a pile of sand in my Laundry room over 3ft high, but they put everything back in it's place, re-cemented the floor, and cleaned up when they were done, you could barely tell they had been there. From the first call to the last steps out the door Water Works is a very professional company with great customer service. The pricing was given up front for all work, as their prices come from a price guide, so you know that the numbers aren't just being made up out of thin air. I appreciated the courtesy calls on the days in between jobs to see how I was doing, and the calls to let me know when they were on their way, and when to expect them. Thank you to Michael, Natasha, Viktor and Igor for your hard work, and dedication.

Larry from Waterworks showed up very early during the timeframe given. Natasha checked in with me before and after the service visit and was extremely pleasant to deal with. The quote was clear and the work was done very quickly. We are very happy with the result.

After calling first 2 companies on homestars - and never getting through or getting any assistance, I tried WaterWorks and they answered on the first call. Were helpful and friendly and quickly booked someone for my appointment. Larry came out - assessed the problem, it was bigger than we thought - and he offered a good solution. whilst a bit costly, I feel confident you get what you pay for and am confident in the service I received and end result. Larry explained things as he went and also very clean! You'd expect a big mess with drilling and such, but he did a great job at keeping it to a very minimal mess. Will keep using them! Happy customer.

Michael from Water Works was phenomenal. He was the 5th plumber we had to try to solve our leak and Michael was able to find the source and stop the leak. He was very transparent with costs and what he was doing and exceptionally knowledgeable. I know who I'm going to call next time I have a plumbing issue!

We've used Water Works a number of times in the past, and they've always been excellent. Their service is quick, reasonably priced, and very well done. Larry was our plumber this time around and did a fantastic job replacing a leaky shut off valve in our basement. Very highly recommended.

We had a problem with the temperature of our hot water for several months. WaterWorks was working on the problem since the beginning. They first changed the mixer valve and that seemed to be the answer. A week later the again temperature hot water was fluctuating. They came back a second time and thought maybe the mixer valve was faulty and changed it again. Unfortunately, that wasn't the answer. The final time, Michael, came over and with some trial and error he found the the problem. It was great they guaranteed their work and they didn't stop until they found the problem. Thank you Larry and Michael.

Larry arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem, which was the ball check in the hot water tank. He told me to contact the hot water tank company and they came and repaired it and my hot water is perfect once again! Larry also drew me a diagram explaining where and what the ball check does, and he looked around the house and made suggestions for improving plumbing and water efficiency. Many thanks!
