    1 bed condo move

    This company is just terrible and the customer service is really bad. Go elsewhere!!! They ended up costing me a fortune and I had to pay for new movers to finish the job and for an additional half month at the storage unit because these guys did not complete the job and left me high and dry. I had until the end of that day to be out of the storage unit, which should have been easy but they showed up 3 hours late in their rental truck. The job was for a pick up at a storage unit downtown and then 2 drop offs, both downtown. Now we are talking a 1 bed unit here, not the contents of some mansion. After loading some items they decided that there was not enough room in the truck for everything and that we would have to come back for a second pickup. When I looked in the truck I could see that they had packed it so badly and that everything would easily have fit had they bothered to plan it. Anyway we agreed that we would do the first drop and then come back for the remaining few pieces. I've never seen two guys work so slowly. They told me it was because they had been working since the early morning on another job and were tired and that they were standing in for 2 other guys. None of this should be any concern of mine at all. As far as I'm concerned I'm paying for a professional service and that's what I expected. What set off alarm bells was when they told me that if I wanted a professional job I should have hired professionals. So beware everyone. At 9pm they simply said that they were too tired to do anymore and that they wanted paying and that I should take it up with 'management'. At this point there was still items in the service elevator and the common hallway to the new condo. When I spoke to 'management' on the phone to tell him that the job was not finished and that his staff refused to go back for the last few items and do the second drop he said that there was nothing that could be done. He promised that he would get back to me first thing in the morning but that I would have to pay again. I had no problem paying for the additional time but I refused to pay the standing charges again as the job should have been finished that day, and could easily have been had they arrived on time and actually given a damn and put in some effort. Anyway he promised me that the matter would be resolved. Foolishly I paid for the work done until 9pm. Sure enough the next day no one called at all and despite me calling their office numbers all day I got through to no-one. I even drove round to their office on Parliament Street to the address on the website only to find that there is no office and instead it's just someone operating out of their appartment in St. Jamestown. So here I am having handed over the cash with my move not completed, furniture still in storage and no response from this so called professional company. I can tell you now 8 weeks later that I never heard from them. I had to hire another moving company to finish the job, which was completed within an hour and half but still cost me another $300. To make matter worse I had to pay for and additional half month at the storage unit, which cost another $200. Moving is one of the most stressful times in people's lives. These cowboys added to my stress. Theydo not deserve your business. Take it elsewhere.

    1 bedroom move

    Miracle Movers, lets see: 1) Showed up hours late 2) charged 3 times the quote 3) Added "charges" without any consultation. 4) Asked for their money while my stuf was still on the truck. 5) Charged for "stairs" for stepping down two steps to the side walk. Whatever you do do not hire these "movers"

    moving

    I would like to tell about my last move. We had an excellent experience with Miracle Movers. They responded to our last minute request on last Saturday because someone else had dropped the ball on our previously scheduled move. Team was punctual as it was very important for us. All were friendly and courteous. These are experienced skilled movers. Nothing was damaged, and the costs were very reasonable.I will use them again on my next move. Rebecca B.

    Moving service

    Few weeks ago I received a terrible news from my land lord, that I had to move out from my condo on the day of my birthday. I have already labeled it the worst birthday ever, then I saw that the movers were 15 minutes late. BUT the 2 guys from Miracle MOvers were so professional, highly organized, careful to my belongings and in the same time nice and friendly that my move toke even less time that I have been estimated. I would definetively recommend to all my friends Miracle Movers, they were amazing!

    Movers

    Though my move seemed to go well and timely, I soon found that one of my boxes was missing. When I called to ask if the movers found anything I was mistreated on the phone. Immediately the guy started in on how I can not accuse the movers of steeling, and that it was not their problem and that it was my fault, even though I hadn't even fully explained the situation. Obviously they have dealt with this before. I tried to explain that the truck was continually watched when the mover were inside at both the pick-up and drop-off locations, thoroughly checked when the move was completed, that I had gone back to the pick-up location to double check, talked to neighbors, and contacted the new buildings property management. All I wanted to know was if they had found it. I am incredibly upset, not only because an entire box of my belongings is missing, but because of how rude and confrontational they were. I don't feel that the situation is resolved but now they will not return any emails or phone calls.

    Moving

    MiracleMovers had arranged a fairly complicated move for us : a three-way delivery. In addition, this was an emotionally difficult move as we were moving our very elderly mother/mother-in-law from her apartment into a nursing home. I just wanted to say "thank-you" on behalf of our whole family. It was a pleasure dealing with this company for the arrangements. They were flexible, knowledgeable, friendly and reassuring. The two men and the truck arrived right on time (actually, even a few minutes early). They had all the equipment needed. They were helpful, responsible and very polite. The company's charges were reasonable and everything got done in good order and good time. Thanks to all for a move that made this process so much easier. I will be recommending MiracleMovers to friends and family for any future moves. Best regards,

    Moving from a 1 bdrm condo to a house

    When I contacted Miracle Movers they were very courteous on the phone and assured me that the very few contents in my 1 bedroom condo would be an easy straight forward move into my new house. I blindly believed them. That was my first mistake! I was given a quote and they estimated that it would take 3-4 hours to move. I had moved the year prior to that, with the same contents and it took a total of 3 hours from Barrie to Mississauga. So I thought we were good. Well, first of all, one of the guys had BAD B/O! The two guys took they time and carried one small item at a time. I realised they were wasting time, so I inquired as to the hold up. They had an elevator designated to them, but it took them half an hour everytime they took a load to the truck. I called the office to complain about the fact that these guys were wasting time and that since I was paying by the hour, it was not an honest thing to do. The manager said that he would look into it and call me back. he never did! I got a bill for $678, for something that should have cost $450. When I called back to the office, they were of no help whatsoever. I was charged $10. for each roller that they used (which they took back), $10. for each item that they shrink wrapped, and other eroneous charges for nonesense. I WILL NEVER AGAIN USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF RIP OFFS. IF YOU WANT TO GET SCAMMED, THIS IS THE PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH. I wrote a letter to the BBB about this incident.

    Moving a one-bedroom apartment

    Showed up late, made me pay a parking ticket, overcharged for materials and 'stairs', damanged furniture, refused to acknowledge emails until threatened Better Business Bureau. . . total, jerks, rip off, slow service. . . STAY AWAY!!!

    MIRACLE MOVERS - TORONTO

    - They showed up 2 hours late for my move! They ignored my calls! - Movers were slow: one small box at a time - They threatened me. MOvers smelled of alcohol - They charged more than the agreed price - They drove away with my stuff and arrived 1 hour later (2o min drive) Please do not use their service. Pay more for a better reputable company. If you don't like them - check them out at the better business bureau!!!!!!!!!!! Also know as "canadian movers". -

    Condo Move

    The 2 man crew arrived right on time; however things quickly went downhill... - They were extremely slow. It took them 7 hours (!!) to complete a 1 bed apt to 1 bed condo move. Dedicated elevators were at both sites. - Unethical behaviour - The truck left 20 minutes before we did but they arrived 20 mins after we arrived at the new site. No explanation given. - Did not honour their commitments. No basic moving materials such as hallway runners to protect flooring, tools, dismantling items, etc as per emailed instructions. - Dispatch was verbally abusive when I challenged them on the length of the move and lack of materials. I refused to pay and threatened to call the police. They finally reduced the amount by $150 (approx 3 hrs of work). They turned an already stressful day into a complete nightmare. Please stay away from these movers!!
