Thank you Mike for taking the time to post a review. We often get calls for inspections on renovations and tarion warranty where the contractor or builder are not doing what they are supposed to. When you buy a brand new home there are still going to be some flaws but the extent of the flaws in your drywall was horrible. Cedric, it was a pleasure meeting you and your wife at the inspection. It is never a pleasure having to tell people that the home they love and want to buy has some big issues. That, however, is my job. Find it and report it so you can decide how to proceed. In your case those were two big issues and very expensive. Because of the expense of the repairs that would be required you do qualify for the half price inspection for your next home. Just my way of saying sorry the first one didn't work out. Let me clarify our infrared services, as per our web site, it is provided in all our inspections at no additional cost. Our agreement does talk about environmental concerns such as molds and asbestos, identifying these substances are outside of our expertise and should always be performed my a Mold and Asbestos Inspector trained in this specialized field. Anytime we see discolouration or substance that looks like or has characteristics of mold we report its as being possible or suspect mold. We are not environmental specialists. Unfortunately we cannot control, the weather or snow fall from the night before, but the exterior that was covered by snow was such a small percentage of the overall inspection.
