    Emergency sewer drain cleaning

    Had a small sewer back-up on a Sunday. I called around to a few places to see who could make it over ASAP to help me out. Their price was resonable for the emergency call out and the work was top notch. And it was only an hour wait or so for them to show up. Their 10 star rating is well deserved. They are now my first call for any plumbing issue I can't handle on my own. Very impressed.

    Leaky drain

    I am a bit late in posting this recommendation as the work was done in early November. My wife and I moved into a new (new to us built in 2001) house in October. The home inspection turned up a water leak coming from the upstairs bathroom bathtub. We had my sister-in-law and her partner moving in with us temporarily and really needed the use of the shower. 1 shower for 4 people really doesn’t work/ I called around and no plumbers were available on such short notice. A coworker suggested checking Home Stars. I found Ducky’s Drains and called. Andrew showed up the same day I called and was in and out in no time. He fixed the cause of the leak and we have had no further issues. He also checked and fixed our other drains to ensure they wouldn't start leaking in the future. I highly recommend Ducky's Drains.

    Replace hot water tank

    Andy came to replace a hot water tank on the Saturday before Christmas. We so appreciated that he took the time to educate us about maintaining our new tank and what to do in case of emergencies. Very prompt, clean, and highly efficient service. Would not hesitate to recommend Ducky's!

    Hot water tank Install

    Andy came out that day, no extra charges,even changed my venting and shut off valve and didn't changes. Will use him again for sure. Very professional put plastic down on the carpets so he didn't stain the carpets.

    Drain cleaning

    Hired Ducky's to do a camera inspection on a pipe to help us locate the pipes under the basement floor a we are preparing to do a small renovation. In the process Andy discovered that tree roots had partially blocked the pipe about 50 feet farther down the line. Cleared it up quickly and saved us from a big problem. Fast professional service. Couldn't be happier with the service Andy provided.

    Disconnect Water Softener

    Ducky's Drains is a great name for a plumbing company. I saw the truck driving around town and the name is so "cute". The service for removing water softener pipes - disconnecting it - was perfect. Very efficient service. Timely in work and the appointment time. Very pleasant. Willing to answer questions. Price was lower than the original quote. Thank you.

    Kitchen Drain Service

    Had somewhat of an emergency blocked kitchen drain over the weekend, and after trying unsuccessfully to resolve ourselves with a rented plumber’s snake on Saturday evening, called the professionals on Sunday. Ducky’s office staff was very friendly in booking the appointment and as it turned out, were the only company that would come out the same day – and even more service-oriented, this was on a Sunday. We were advised of the price schedule upfront, and it was as competitive as others who were not available to do the service until Monday earliest – so Ducky’s was not gouging for the Sunday service. Andy arrived in the time window advised by the office, and was very friendly, hardworking and efficient in getting the job done. In addition to solving the problem, he cleaned up everything to our total satisfaction before he left. I won’t look any further than Ducky’s if there’s a next time for needing this type of work done.

    Faucet Installation and snaked my tub drain

    I am very skeptical of trades people for various reasons. Either they do shoddy work or they don't show up. Andy was early and polite. He was quick and did a fantastic job. He looked at my water tank and told me to hold off until next year to replace but do replace it next year. Most plumbers would try to find a way to charge you more. Andy's costs were pleasantly reasonable. All I can say is Thank you so much for a fabulous job! He deserves the 10 star rating!

    Root Clearance in Sewer Pipe

    Booked this family run business to do routine maintenance. Andy arrived punctually, and the work was completed within the time frame and at the cost advised at booking. He suggested, and did, a small extra job at no additional charge. Finally, he made very helpful recommendations regarding future maintenance, ideas we'd not thought of. Will call Ducky's Drains for all future plumbing needs.

    Hot Water Tank Repair

    I called Ducky's previously, when I was having a hard time finding a contractor that was reasonable and could respond in a timely fashion. Since then, I have decided to use Duck's for all of my plumbing needs. This is because they truly care about their customers. For example, my most recent call to them was for a hot water that was leaking from the bottom of the tank. They took the time to explain to me why I needed a new one and were never reluctant to answer any of my thorough questions. As soon as I had explained there was no hot water in the house, they quickly ensured me that even though they were booked solid they could get me water by the end of the day no matter what -even if it meant doing some big over-time. I couldn't begin to explain to you how relieved I was to get that response. The replacement tank was installed in about an hour, the contractor took my old tank for me and explained to me how the warrantee and the controls worked for the new unit. Their work was professional, from the plumbing aspect -to the finished result. The site was left spotless, Andrew was very polite and displayed a genuine care for my needs the entire way through. I would recommend Ducky's to anyone that want's a timely response, professional work, and a plumber that cares all for a great price!
