    Fridge was not working

    Daniel came out, identified the problem and fixed the fridge in no time flat. He also came back after we noticed a weird sound post repair, and fixed at no additional cost, even though it was not related to the original fridge issue. I would highly recommend using their service, and will use them again if I need any other home repairs in the future.

    Oven repair

    Service tech was punctual. Problem diagnosed and repaired quickly with no mess. Would use their services again.

    Microwave

    refridgerator part replaced

    Refridgerator 10 years old stopped working. Dima from FixAppliances came over to assess the problem. Dima was excellent. He ran the appropriate tests for a broken refridgerator. The starter part needed to be replaced. Dima not only fixed the problem, but he explains everything he is doing as he goes along, step by step. Dima is a good technician and instructor. I would also like to mention that FixAppliance staff who book my appointment was very helpful. This is the second time I have used FixAppliances. I would definately use them again. Thank you to FixAppliance.

    Washing machine

    This is my second call with the company the first time they replaced the washer boot it that was 2 years ago and it is still going strong The second was a drainage issue and they sent the same tech as I had 2 years ago it and he had fixed the problem again I would highly recommend

    Dishwasher

    Good Service but the labour more than part Will not recommend to friend as expensive

    Dishwasher Repair

    When we started looking for an appliance repair company to repair our dishwasher I was initially impressed that Fix Appliances had a chat line on their web page. This made it easy to connect to a real person, explain our problem and set up an appointment to have the issue diagnosed. On the day of the appointment, Ilya called and wanted to know if he could come to our home earlier than scheduled. Early always works for us! He diagnosed the problem as a bent hinge and put an order in for the replacement. There was no mess after he left. The day Ilya came for the actual repair, he again called and wanted to know if he could come earlier than scheduled. Again – bonus points in my book. It took a few hours to repair, but once complete the kitchen was clean. Unfortunately the next day we went to load the dishwasher and only then discovered that the door did not go down all the way. As a result, the bottom rack would not pull out all the way. So we contacted Fix Appliances and set up an appointment for two days later. Ilya returned and, after a short visit, expertly corrected the problem. It is unfortunate that a third visit was required. That is the only reason we have given a 9/10. However, we would recommend Fix Appliances and Ilya especially to anyone who was looking to get an appliance repaired. We know that we will use their services again in the future.

    Check dishwasher, Microwave and washing machine.

    Dima showed up on time and is very polite and courteous. He took the time to explain what part was broken and what was worth repairing. The Bosch dishwasher was repaired on his visit and parts were ordered for the GE microwave. The Maytag washer would overflow water from the fabric softener dispencer only on clean machine cycle. I though it was a inlet water valve issue, as I had seen that problem on youtube. Dima ran a rince cycle and showed me that it wasnt the issue and the computer board was the issue. He explained during the wash machine cycle the vale was staying open for probably one minute instead of 10-15 seconds and that would cause the flooding. He said not to replace the computer board as it was to expensive for the age of the machine. He recommended not using the clean machine cycle and just run the bulky load cycle with hot water to clean the machine. All of the other cycles work fine without flooding. I am very happy with Fixappliance and their service tecnician Dima who is honest and straight forward. Thanks!

    Gas dryer belt and pulley replacement

    The technician was courteous and professional, issue diagnosis and repair work was done very quickly, but I was given a verbal quote that did not include labour and I was not told this. I was also not given a breakdown of cost prior to handing my credit card over for payment (didn't think it was necessary given the fact that I had already been given a verbal quote). As a result I was very surprised to find that I ended up paying over double the amount that I was expecting to pay. I also question being charged over $200 in labour for maybe 30 minutes of work, given the fact that the issue assessment was free if paying for repair.

    Dryer repair

    Great job cleaning and fixing our dryer - it works just like new again. Dima was very knowledgable and I wouldn’t hesitate to call him again.
