Our fridge would not restart after a power outage in our area. We received prompt and efficient service from Modern Appliance. The service person, Peter, was courteous and worked quickly. The price which included the necessary part was competitive. Peter also advised us to purchase a power surge protector by way of possibly preventing a recurrence of the problem. We recommend this company and we highly recommend Peter. Muriel

When I called for repair, someone called me back immediately and scheduled an inspection. He came and told me the real problem. The next day, he came with the spare parts and fixed my dryer. So easy and fast. What amazed me is this guy's honesty and professionalism. He is so reliable. He made his job a priority and I am really very thankful. Good job. Keep it up!!! Eighteen month old washing machine just quit. Called Peter and he arrived the next a.m. before 9:00 a.m. diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Great service! What more could one ask for!!!!!!

Not only did he call me back within minutes of my message, but he came and saw us on a Saturday, which is huge (as we both work) and rare (try calling around and you'll see). As the applicance was our washing machine we really needed it fixed fast and he was wonderful to deal with from start to finish and the machine runs as well now as when new. Thanks Peter!

I was experiencing some issues with excessive noise coming from my Frigidaire fridge. I pulled it out and discovered the noise was coming from the back of the freezer. However, I had no idea where to start. Decided to call a bunch of appliance repair companies and left voicemails. Peter returned my call within a couple hours, and he patiently walked through the symptoms that I had noticed. He diagnosed the problem immediately, but mentioned a couple of things I could check when I got home from work. I had asked for a rough quote, but he mentioned that he could provide an exact quote once he knew the price of the Frigidaire part. By the time I was able to provide the Model Number to him, Frigidaire had closed so he said he would get back to me the next morning. As promised, received a voicemail from Peter the next morning with an exact quote for the work required to resolve the noise issue. I called back with a couple more questions that I had, and Peter patiently addressed those. It helps that he is a clear communicator. I decided to book a service appointment with him for the next morning. Peter came within the time interval that he had promised the next morning, and brought along with him the required Frigidaire part. The issue was indeed as diagnosed over the phone so Peter went to work. Several things really stood out while he was working away. He was really pleasant to deal with. He takes alot of care during the repair, even in finding a safe spot to set his tools. He was also more than generous with my requests for information. Once the repair was complete, I was more than satisfied with the "back to normal" noise level. In addition by accurately diagnosing the issue over the phone and bringing the part with him on the first visit, I was able to minimize my time away from work (good thing). I hope I do not run into appliance issues again in the future. But in the case that I do, I would definitely go back to Modern.

I called Modern Appliance for service on our kitchen aid refrigerator Pete took his time on the phone and explained to me what the possible problem could be. Peter tried to have me defrost my fridge to see if this would fix the issue, without him having to come out and fix it. Unfortunantly this did not work. I called Modern Appliance the next day and Peter came out the same day with the defrost board and fixed it! This was fast and very honest work with a great price. Im very impressed with this company. Great Job Modern.

Peter service tech was friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable by phone. Gave us the pros and cons between manufacture parts vs alternative parts to help us decide on an economical repair. Came to our house for the repair, explained everything he was doing and problem was quickly resolved.

I took the advice of the Reviews on this company and was pleased that they were true to their word. I had a problem with my stove that needed a particular part to be ordered. Peter always kept me updated with the time of arrival and price. I would highly reommend Modern Appliance and Peter is definitely ""The Man""

Peter from Modern Repair came to our home because our the bottom burner in our gas stove was not working. After speaking to him on the phone, he immediately knew what the problem was. He came out the next day and had it fixed within 30 minutes. Nice guy. Will use them again and will recommend them to anybody.
