    Fix toilet, check kitchen tap

    I wanted to get my weak flushing toilet fixed and bought a DIY kit from Rona-and realized I had better call an expert. Andrew was prompt, polite and professional. The rates were reasonable and he did not charge me for looking at my kitchen tap. I will contact him again if I need a plumber.

    Denis reconnection and new hot water heter

    I had Andrew come out a few times due to the timing of rents etc. each time he was professional and took pride in his work and his company. Each time he came out he verified everything was ok with his last visit

    Drains

    After reading the great reviews, we had to give Ducky's Drains a try to see for ourselves. Andrew told us his rates before we booked the service and he showed up exactly when he said he would. When he got here, he explained what he was going to do and gave us tips to help prevent this problem in the future. We were very happy and will definitely use Ducky's Drains again.

    Sink water line repair

    I bought a new dishwasher that wouldn't wash my dishes. I called in Ducky's Drains and he was great. He worked quickly and efficiently, was very courteous and very clean. The dishwasher works great now.

    Kitchen Sink Clog

    I am new to Calgary and was looking to hire a plumber to fix the clogged kitchen sink in my condo. After looking at reviews on Homestars, I called up Andy. He was just finishing up his last assignment for the day in my neighbourhood and was at my place in less than 30 mins. That's a stark contrast the people who gave 3 - 4 days lead time. I tried all kinds of things to get the blockage out of my kitchen sink, but nothing worked out. Andy took about 20 minutes in all to fix the issue. He had this electric snake which he had to use twice because the issue seemed to have much deeper down the drain than initially anticipated. He's very friendly, professional, clean and bang on time. He also made sure my floor is all covered in his blankets and towels to make sure the mess from the work doesn't leave the floor all dirty. He also wiped out every tiny spot left by his work on the floor. I'd recommend Andy to anyone who wants to get the work done at their place. The price is also very reasonable as I tried calling up multiple companies and independent plumbers to get the estimate. Thanks for fixing our issue very promptly Andy... appreciate it. You'll probably be the first one I will call if I have any plumbing issues in the future. !!

    Shower, Toilet and Sink

    I've called Andy 3 times for 3 different jobs both at our rental property and at our house. I've been impressed each time. He's on-time, very courteous, and reasonably priced like so many others have said. But most importantly he knows his stuff! He's got great solutions, does not try to sell you things you don't need, and gets the job done quickly. It's such a relief knowing a plumber you can trust!

    Sink install and garborater

    I called around for someone to come install my sink and garberator. No one wanted the job as they were all too "busy" and couldn't come for at least a month. Andrew was willing to work around my schedule. He didn't make me feel bad when I bought my supplies and then couldn't afford to have it installed. WHen I was finally able to have it installed I called and he got me in right away. The price was extremely reasonable. I was very happy with the work that was done. He explained care of it until it was ready to use. He cleaned up his mess and took the garbage out to the garbage can. I had found a little bit of water and he came back the next morning and fixed ( at no charge) a problem I am sure wasn't his fault. He was kind and provided excellent customer service! You can't buy customer service anymore. Dealing with Andrew was a breath of fresh air! I'd recommend him any day!

    Main Sewer Line Backup

    Phoned many companies in the city to fix my sewer emergency (Main Sewer Line Backup). Most of them could not come till a week from now and would charge me a ridiculous amount because I live a few kilometers outside of the city limits. Andrew was not only willing to drive out here and not charge me extra, but he was also available the same day. He is a very professional gentleman that fixed the issue without me getting overcharged. I will recommend him to anyone and I will call him again if I need a plumber.

    Kitchen Drain Clog

    I messaged several of the top Calgary plumbers on HomeStars based on reviews. The company with the best reviews couldn't come to my place for 4 days from when I messaged them because they were booked up. The next company didn't provide an hourly rate and said he had to get in there and see first....he still could have provided his hourly rate even if he didnt know how long it would take! Andrew from Ducky's responded right away on a Sunday afternoon and was able to come to my condo the next day. He was transparent about the costs up front and charged exactly what he said he would. He thoroughly answered all my questions, took his shoes off, laid a blanket on the floor as he worked, and was very friendly. I highly recommend Ducky's Drains because of their transparency and ease through the process.

    Plumbing

    Andy did a great job of clearing a plugged sewer line. Showed up early(great) and 2 hrs. later problem solved. Everything was left clean. I would highly recommend Ducky's Drains.
