No roofing underlay, what should I do?

My roof has shingles but no underlay or barrier underneath. I’m planning to convert the attic into an office and was going to put up drywall. Should I add something first to protect the drywall from moisture in case water ever leaks through the shingles?

Is it okay to tile over existing tiles or should I take them out first?

I’m planning a bathroom renovation and was wondering if it’s okay to install new tiles directly over the old ones or if it’s better to remove them completely first. The existing tiles are in decent shape and still well stuck to the wall, but I’m not sure if tiling over them would cause problems down the road with weight, adhesion or moisture. Has anyone done this? And what would you recommend?

We have had small recurrent leaks in this bedroom during the winter that have aligned with big temperature changes. But this new leak is dripping and happened during a rainstorm yesterday.

Had some water damage last Monday. The issue is partially dealt with but I need someone to take a second look to confirm next steps. Summary: - Washing machine spilled on floor last Monday while I was opening the filter valve. Around 2 cups of water fell onto the floor. - Some water got under a few planks of laminate floor in front of machine (maybe 3-4 planks max). Confirmed by an inspection using moisture meters/infrared cameras. The rest of water spilled onto title, not an issue. - I got a dehumidifier for a day and moisture seems close to baseline since Saturday/Sunday (12.5% compared to dry areas with 8%) Now, I need someone to help me deal with damage to the floor and any possible mold growth in that area.

The water damage is in a very small area. There is buckling of wood in front of the door and the other side of the wall to the washing mashine.

We found a leak stain at our dining area, and there is a bathroom above it. And we are not sure what is leaking. Sometimes I do notic a drip sound when the washing machine is draining water, so maybe one of the main pipe connected to washing machine is leaking.
