I am looking for an artist or decorative painter in Toronto to create a small custom mural above an interior doorway, extending to the ceiling. The space is about 42 inches wide and roughly 12–18 inches tall with 8 ft ceilings. I want a wave crashing into sand design that transitions between a blue wall on the left side of the stairs and a sand wall on the right, blending the two colors naturally above the door. Please send quote, and examples of similar work. Thank you.
Exterior painting: Detached house
Hi, I need a painter to re-paint/stain my deck.
The deck is already without furniture, cleaned and scraped with a stiff brush and ready for painting.
But there are a few pieces of new pressure treated wood that require light sanding before painting to ensure the paint adheres well.
See photos attached.
We also have some small painting to be done to some repairs to the foot of four posts on the front stairs. (See photo).
We have the solid stain already (Cabot).
The guy who just repaired the deck estimates 1 to 1.5 days of work. (He doesn’t like painting so he asked me to get someone else to do the painting.)
So the work is:
-Sand new wood. (I have sand paper and sanding block but this will be much easier/faster with a 5-inch random orbital sander with vacuum attachment if you have one.
-Masking tape on glass panels/brick
-One light layer of stain everywhere, back-brushing to ensure coverage
-Paint the bottom foot of the four posts. (already primed)
-Probably return next day for ½ day of touchups.
This must be done May 27 and/or May 28. Other dates are NOT possible.
We are located on Hambly Ave in the beaches.
Please let me know if you can do it and what your cost is.
If you’re not able to do it but you can recommend somebody then I will appreciate the recommendation.
