Install or Repair Surveillance Cameras: New installation; More than...

Location: Richmond Hill, ON (Rouge Woods / Bayview & Major Mac area) Project Type: Whole-home structured wiring (low + high voltage) with emphasis on clean aesthetics Timeline: December 2025 (preferred) – February 2026 (can be flexible) Project Overview: Looking for a licensed, insured electrician (or low/high-voltage team) to install a full UniFi Protect security system + UniFi Wi-Fi 7 network + EV charger in a 2-storey + finished basement detached house (~2,600 sq ft, 40×111 ft lot). Priority: clean, discreet installation — no “spider-web” of conduits on the exterior or too many dry wall cuts on the interior. The server rack will be in the basement furnace/utility room. Scope of Work (Low Voltage): (Cat6a, clean aesthetic focus) Run shielded Cat6a (outdoor-rated/gel-filled where exposed, plenum where inside walls). Total drops: 14–16 5 outdoor PoE G6 security cameras 1 outdoor PoE video doorbell (front) 3 indoor PoE cameras (1st floor great room, 1st floor kitchen, 1st floor living room/entry foyer) 3 indoor Wi-Fi cameras (no cable needed, just confirming locations) 2 ceiling-mounted U7 Pro Wi-Fi 7 access points (2nd floor front, basement back) 1 backbone Cat6a from 1st-floor Bell Gigahub (10G port) to basement rack 2 × HDMI-over-Cat6 runs from furnace-room rack to (a) basement office desk and (b) kitchen TV A few spares for future outdoor lights, etc. Routing Preference (clean look is mandatory): Interior wall fishing wherever practical (attic drops for 2nd floor, basement drops for 1st floor). For outdoor cameras: group cables into the fewest possible exterior conduit chases (ideally 3–4 total on the whole house), painted to match siding, entering through soffits or sealed penetrations. No individual conduit per camera — bundle them neatly. Scope of Work (High Voltage): Add one dedicated 15 A, 120 V circuit from main panel to furnace room for the new server rack and UPS. Run 100 A circuit (6-gauge or 4-gauge copper) from main panel to garage for a Level 2 EV charger (48 A continuous). Install NEMA 14-50 outlet or hard-wired junction box with spare capacity/tail for future second EV charger + load-sharing/power-management device. Equipment Already Purchased (or will be by me): All UniFi gear (UDM-SE, UNVR-Pro, USW-Pro-Max-16 switch, G6 cameras, doorbell, APs, UPS, rack, GTek 10G module, HDMI extenders, etc.). Cable can be supplied or reimbursed. Ideal Candidate: Proven experience with clean, discreet UniFi / security camera installs (interior fishing + minimal exterior conduits) Comfortable with 100 A EV charger circuits and future-proofing for dual chargers ESA-licensed, fully insured, WSIB Must provide photos of previous jobs showing tidy exterior work Please quote: Low-voltage wiring only High-voltage only Bundled price (preferred) Thank you. Looking forward to seeing your past work!

Install or Repair Surveillance Cameras: New installation; 4 cameras

4 cameras to install outside. Locations to install are front door, garage door, side door, and backyard. Cameras need power extended to them.

Install or repair network wiring: New installation; Route fiber fro...

I have been provided with 40 meters of fiber optic cable by Bell. They said they cannot route it themselves and I must get an electrician to do it. It must be routed to the upper middle of the house since that's where the ethernet cables are. The easiest way seems to be from the attic. I've provided pictures showing where the cable can enter the house, and where it has to travel through the attic.

Install or Repair Surveillance Cameras: Replacement; 3 cameras

I would like to replace about 3 outdoor security cameras. 4 cameras were installed by the previous owner and I'd like to replace 3 of them with Nest outdoor wired cameras(I will provide the cameras). There are existing wiring that goes out of a box in the garage, and I'm hoping that I can reuse this setup so there's no need to make addiitonal drills. The box in the garage would no longer be needed with the nest camera setup.
