Install or replace gate for driveway and security: New standalone g...

Hello! Looking to get a new gate made and installed that also gives us some backyard privacy. Doesn’t have to be electric. Also possibly considering interlocking to cover the gravel and maybe do a deal on both that and fence. We park a car here also. Happy to answer any other questions! Thank you

Install or repair network wiring: Repair; Fiber optic SC APC connec...

I was moving my Telus fibre box to another location and pulled a bit too hard on the fibre connection. I think it needs re-termination, not something I have any tools for.

Install or replace gate for driveway and security: New standalone g...

Want to install gate between houses. Photo is of what was there perviously (10 years ago); since has been removed. Open to discussion of wood vs wrought iron.

Install or repair network wiring: Replacement; home ethernet

Recently moved into a house and want ethernet ports around the house. Previous owner wired the house with a mix of Cat5 and Cat5e wires, but terminated those wires around the house in RJ11/12 phone jacks. I am not experienced with network cabling and I'm nervous about removing and redoing the wires in the cable box, and about re-terminating the ports. Specific problem to be solved by this project is that wireless network is barely reaching my work-from-home office in the attic using network extenders. Ethernet connection would be a big improvement.

Install or replace alarm system: Replacement; Traditional alarm

I am replacing windows and one patio door in my home. I have a wired security alarm on all windows. My home is a bungalow and basement is not finished. Is it beneficial to repair the alarm system once windows are installed or is it more beneficial and cost saving to go wireless inside and exterior of home. What is most efficient cost of each method.
