We are looking to renovate an existing set of stairs, across 2 floors. The main floor to second floor includes 2 sets of stairs with a landing and 2 large winders, and the basement set contains 5 winders mid-run. At a minimum, we are looking to refinish the stairs, and completely replace all railings (and install new railings were there are none today). You can see by the photos there are some unique challenges for these "far-from-code" stairs. We're looking for a creative partner to help us solve as many of these challenges as best we can. We are open and flexible on options for materials and finishes - we have some ideas in mind, but realize certain designs may better solve our situation than others. Looking to start this project sooner rather than later, but can be flexible on timing.

The section of chain link fence is beside the shed in the backyard (east side of the yard). It is an extension of the cedar fence that is throughout the yard. I want either privacy slats or a wooden privacy lattice attached to the chain link fence to block out the view of the neighbour's yard, which is messy and ugly.
