Would be nice if the floor could be raised to match main‑floor level. Underneath we want to convert basement storeroom into a bedroom‑capable room , with proper wall/ceiling insulation, egress‑capable window(s), and comfortable heating so it can function as a true bedroom or flex space. These spaces are NOT currently climate controlled. I don't know if they can be connected to the home's HVAC or if they will need their own system, such as a heat pump. Later phase would be to rebuild the deck.
