No roofing underlay, what should I do?

My roof has shingles but no underlay or barrier underneath. I’m planning to convert the attic into an office and was going to put up drywall. Should I add something first to protect the drywall from moisture in case water ever leaks through the shingles?

Is it okay to tile over existing tiles or should I take them out first?

I’m planning a bathroom renovation and was wondering if it’s okay to install new tiles directly over the old ones or if it’s better to remove them completely first. The existing tiles are in decent shape and still well stuck to the wall, but I’m not sure if tiling over them would cause problems down the road with weight, adhesion or moisture. Has anyone done this? And what would you recommend?

I will take possession of this condo on Nov 17/26. I want this completed as close to that date as possible before I move in. The Condo corp. has to approve the contractor credentials and details of the job before you can begin. The pictures attached show the existing reddish floors in living room, (which I believe is wood) and shows the transitions to the hall and bedroom which are vinyl plank, beige and match each other. I need vinyl plank to be put in the living room done to match the bedroom and hallway. The living/dining measurements are attached. Please give me a quote
