I am building a new framed feature wall (fireplace + TV bump-out) that will cover part of an existing wall. I need a licensed electrician to modify a small section of existing wiring so no electrical boxes are buried and all outlets remain accessible after construction. Current setup (see photos): Originally there was one lower outlet on this wall. A mid-level outlet was later added (fed from the lower box) to power a TV. A new dedicated 20A outlet was added near the right edge of the wall for an electric fireplace. The new framed wall (outlined in green tape) will cover two lower outlets, which cannot remain in their current locations. Scope of work (flexible on exact method): Lower outlet in the middle of the wall (inside green tape): This outlet can be eliminated as a device. Wiring may be rerouted so power is maintained to the mid-level TV outlet and any other downstream outlets on the same circuit. Lower outlet near the right edge of the wall (this is the dedicated 20A fireplace outlet): This outlet must be relocated to an accessible location in the new bump-out wall, positioned next to the existing mid-level outlet. It should remain a dedicated 20A circuit. Important notes: This is not a full rewire of the room. The goal is to avoid any buried or inaccessible junction boxes. I am flexible on approach if there is an easier or cleaner solution (e.g., relocating junction points, adding an accessible junction outside the bump-out, or other code-compliant methods). All work must be code-compliant with Alberta / Canadian Electrical Code. Photo of the perpendicular wall is included only to show nearby outlets and overall circuit context. Wall framing is in progress, so access is currently available. Looking for a licensed electrician experienced with remodels and outlet relocations. Please provide an estimated cost range and availability.

Install or replace ventilation system: Repair; 1 room

Hi, We live in Stittsville. We have a problem with our ensuite bathroom. The cold air is gushing into our bathrooms through the exhaust fan. We tried Jiffy handy man service. But they made the issue worse by replacing the exhaust fan now more air comes into the home. We want someone to check if the issue is with the exhaust fan or the dampener or if the duct is not connected to the exhaust.
