No roofing underlay, what should I do?

My roof has shingles but no underlay or barrier underneath. I’m planning to convert the attic into an office and was going to put up drywall. Should I add something first to protect the drywall from moisture in case water ever leaks through the shingles?

Is it okay to tile over existing tiles or should I take them out first?

I’m planning a bathroom renovation and was wondering if it’s okay to install new tiles directly over the old ones or if it’s better to remove them completely first. The existing tiles are in decent shape and still well stuck to the wall, but I’m not sure if tiling over them would cause problems down the road with weight, adhesion or moisture. Has anyone done this? And what would you recommend?

I would like to have two separate lengths of downspouts which are each 10 ft long, which are white in color, with the measurements 4 in by 4 in, to be installed to the existing downspouts that run along the wall. These would be the discharge downspouts that are parallel to the ground where the water comes out of. You may need to cut the existing downspouts that run along the wall by a couple of inches or something like that to install the new segments.

Roof leak going through ceiling. First issue I’ve had with it. Roof is 14 years old. Bungalow with side gable roof- lower slope. Need to detect where leak is coming from and repair.
